    Trnava – known as little Rome

    Drive along Small Carpathian hills until we reach Trnava – the town small in size, but rich in architectural gems and unique sacral monuments. It was the first privileged royal town in Slovakia.
    We enjoy the atmosphere of old ancient streets and squares, get closer to the city walls from the 13th century. Climb up to the 16th century city tower and enjoy the views. Visit of Cathedral of St John the Baptist – one of the biggest of its kind in Europe, pope John Paul II visited this sacral place.
    St. Nicholas Basilica, parish church stands on the square was a cathedral church of the Esztergom Archbishop in the years 1543-1820.

    Stroll around the city centre, lunch break. As we are in a wine region, you have the perfect opportunity to try great Slovak wines in one of the ancient wine cellars.
